Swarm Update - already in game! [UPD]
A large-scale seasonal update "Swarm" has been installed on the game servers! You are in for the namesake Special Operation and a new Battle Pass, the maps "Tunnel" (Team Deathmatch), "Yard 2.0" and "District 2.0" (Free for All), the assault rifles SAI GRY LMG and IWI Carmel, the pistols Ruger Mk IV Lite and "Reaper", three weapon series and lots of other interesting novelties.

Special Operation "Swarm"
Enjoy the atmosphere of classic horror films of the 80s! The dawn haze will be a harbinger of the nightmare that you will have to live in reality. The pitch darkness that reigns in mysterious laboratories and damp tunnels of a grim underground bunker will make you shudder from every rustle and shoot into the darkness. Well, soldier. Welcome to "Swarm"!
Get ready to face arachnids - predatory mutant beetles. This is a fundamentally new opponent with unique combat tactics waiting for its victim in the most unexpected places and protected by hard chitinous covers.
By completing the whole Special Operation within a certain period of time, you will get the most generous rewards: a box with cards for crafting powerful "Parasite" weapons covered with chitin and poisonous saliva of bloodthirsty arachnids. The series includes HArms CQR, Fostech Origin-12, Bushmaster BA50, Thompson M1928, XM556 Microgun, as well as a novelty of this update - the machine gun SAI GRY LMG.
The "Swarm" season offers cool ways of decorating your coat of arms and personal profile. The new Special Operation yields plenty of unique achievements. Get them all to demonstrate your skills to others.

Themed Login Streak
In the framework of the new season launch, the login streak items will be replaced with themed articles dedicated to "Swarm". They will change on November 29, 2020. We will tell you more about it in a separate publication. Please note that items you will get may differ from the general schedule depending on the number of days you have not logged into the game.
The Team Deathmatch map rotation has been expanded with a new map featuring a themed setting based on the special operation "Swarm". On the new location, you can feel the atmosphere of gloomy tunnels that Blackwood transformed into a research base. Watch out: dangerous opponents can be right behind your back.
The location provides a highly intensive combat at close and long ranges. The Team Deathmatch kicks off inside the tunnel behind its gate. The defense team starts the battle in the dead end of a railway tunnel, while the attacking team begins the combat on the opposite side of the map, behind a truck.
Battle Pass "Swarm"
After the update, a new Battle Pass season has kicked off. We took into account your wishes and suggestions and tweaked the global operation.
Daily tasks and possibility to make a choice. Upon finishing all missions of all types, full access holders will be able to gain more than 150% of progress, that is, one and a half times more than needed to get the maximum rewards. You can earn more than 100% of progress without the paid access. Thus, players will be able to more often select tasks they like and skip less enjoyable ones.
Simple tasks. Some challenges have been simplified. The missions that players consider inconvenient have been removed.
Reworked reward system. The number of temporary rewards will be reduced. Upon reaching level 100, a full access player will receive the maximum of 1000 free cards that can be used to open any weapon in the crafting system.
Take part in the Battle Pass and earn tons of fascinating rewards including the assault rifle IWI Carmel, the weapon series "Toxicity" and "Chitin", two sets of "Arachnid" skins, weapon charms, unique achievements and much more!
The new assault rifle offers combat specs similar to those of one of the most favoured weapon AK-12. The IWI Carmel differs from the latter due to a slightly increased rate of fire and a greater attachment variability. These advantages are offset by a lower effective range. Details.
Equip new skins and join the “Arachnid” squad in the fights against the unknown alien threat. The most efficient and experienced fighters can join an elite combat squad: their overall sprint distance bonus will increase by 60%.

Elite “Arachnid” squad
You can get the "Arachnid" skins by reaching levels 33, 43, 61 and 96 of the Battle Pass. As for the Elite “Arachnid” squad skins, they are waiting for premium access players on levels 10, 20, 30 and 40.
The vivid "Chitin" weapon series is set in the "Swarm" style. The looks of the weapons will definitely remind you about certain locations of the new Special Operation. The series contains only powerhouse guns for all classes!
The "Toxicity" weapon series can also boast a bright design. The weapon frames are decorated with graffiti elements and the silhouette of one of the most dangerous enemies in the “Swarm” operation. The series includes primaries for all classes, as well as secondary and melee arms.
"Swarm" Weapon Charms
The list of available charms will be expanded with new bright items. All of them are dedicated to “Swarm”, set in the same style and will become a pleasant reminder of combats against arachnids. Top up your collection, customize weapons and enjoy new stylish guns in battle!
You can mount the accessories on the guns from the list below. As new sets appear, it will be replenished with more arms. Moreover, each new set can be installed on the weapons from the previous list.

Ruger Mk IV Lite
The USA pistol Ruger Mk IV Lite will become one of the best precision pistols. Its main rival is the CZ 75 Czechmate Parrot. The novelty differs from the latter thanks to a higher accuracy and reduced maximum spread; it also boasts an increased damage multiplier to the head and limbs. However, the main advantage of the new pistol is a silencer that does not reduce damage.
The owner of the golden Ruger Mk IV Lite will be able to get a unique stripe for eliminating 999 opponents.
SAI GRY LMG
The SAI GRY LMG is an improved version of the American weapon SAI GRY AR-15 well familiar to every Warface player. It is designed to occupy a niche between assault rifles and machine guns. The SAI GRY LMG differs from its predecessor in a higher damage and a better rate of fire, as well as a more spacious magazine. The SAI GRY LMG favourably compares to other machine guns thanks to its excellent accuracy and soft recoil.
"Reaper" is one of the most accurate pistols in Warface. It favourably compares to the Ruger Mk IV Lite, another novelty of the "Swarm" season, thanks to its higher damage, better range of fire, reduced spread, a larger magazine and one-of-a-kind looks.
"Free for All" maps
"Free for All" has been replenished with two popular maps of the "Plant the Bomb" mode: "Yard 2.0" and "District 2.0". The maps' looks remain the same, but the old tactics will now be hardly applicable - an enemy will be waiting for you literally around every corner.
If you have not yet played on "Yard 2.0", we would like to remind that visually, the map is set in the style of a small Middle Eastern village on the river bank.
"District 2.0" is a quarter of a South American city where dilapidated slums are enclosed in a ring of wide highways and majestic skyscrapers.
Support for borderless windowed mode
You can now select the borderless windowed mode in the graphics settings. When enabled, the game client window will automatically adjust to the desktop resolution. When switching between multiple applications in this mode, the game client window will continue to display the game without losing performance or turning black.
Improved shotgun damage indicator
A number of algorithms have been reworked to speed up the damage indicator response when firing shotguns. Previously, when hitting an enemy with a shotgun, the damage was registered separately for each pellet. Thus, in some cases, the processing time increased and there might be delays in the "damage cross" display.
Improved behavior of the character model when being damaged. Now the reaction to impacts is smoother and more realistic - the character twitches and shakes less.
Added additional seasonal "Swarm" achievements. We will tell you about the ways of obtaining them in separate publications.
Added individual achievements for killing enemies with "Great Gatsby" weapons.
The background of the main menu has been changed: it is now 3D (used to be 2D). It has become more attractive due to the use of the 3D geometry, lighting and visual effects.
Improved the NVIDIA GeForce Experience integration with the game client.
The login streak rewards have been replaced with themed items.
ACR CQB Custom: increased minimum damage, lower and softer recoil, decreased maximum spread.
A number of popular character skins have received a sprint distance bonus or their bonus has been changed: "Paragon" and "Strike Team Alpha" - 40%; COS and "Atlas" - 50%; Blackwood - 60%.
The list of weapons available for charm installation has been expanded: added the VSK and AMB-17.
Added the dark version of several attachments for some weapon series.
Added temporary weapon versions to Random Boxes with cards for weapon crafting. The chances of getting the cards have not changed.
Special reflex sight: the aiming point is now smaller.
Red Dot Sight: reworked attachment textures.
Chiappa Triple Threat, 6 weapons of the "Parasite" series, IWI Carmel and SAI GRY LMG are now available in the weapon crafting system.
The loading screen and the sound theme replaced with their themed versions.
The Solo mission has been simplified.
Updated special action icons.
Added achievements for killing opponents with the "Winter Camo" series.
Added achievement for the SED upon killing 2000 enemies in the "Blackout" special operation (on Hard).
Updated test icons in the "Safe House".

Fixed an error due to which the tools for monitoring game indicators had an incorrect display order.

Cobalt Kinetics Stealth Pistol:
fixed a bug due to which the weapon reloading animation was not displayed in the third person view;
fixed a bug which caused visual artifacts in the first person view if the character was equipped with the "GROM Engineer" skin and had the MOD Billet Foregrip V1 mounted on the weapon.
DVL-10 M2: fixed a visual error due to which, when the bolt was opened after a shot, the cartridge case was missing in the chamber.
Sidewinder Venom: fixed a bug due to which the items of the weapon modification menu were displayed incorrectly at a resolution of 1280x1024.
Fixed a bug due to which the icons of the Typhoon F12 Custom cards were less sharp than the icons of other cards.
H&K MG36: fixed a bug which caused an incorrect weapon display in the character's hands in the first person view if tactical grips were employed.
Tavor TS12 Custom: fixed a bug which caused visual artifacts when changing weapons in the first person view if the character was equipped with a "Samurai" skin.
Fixed a bug due to which, when viewed in the third person, a shotgun that could be reloaded might disappear from the character's hands if he overcame an obstacle (for example, climbed onto a box).
Fostech Origin-12: fixed a bug due to which the animation of the butt strike did not coincide with the actual impact on the enemy in the first person view.
Fixed a bug due to which, in some cases, the grenade throw animation worked incorrectly in the first person view.
Fixed a bug due to which the dark version of the Rifleman Suppressor had a standard icon.
AT308: fixed a bug due to which the suppressor was missing for series weapon versions in the weapon modification menu.
M4 Custom: fixed a bug due to which the caliber of cases was different in the first and third person view.
"Exclusion Area": fixed a bug due to which, at high graphics settings, some objects could disappear at a certain distance.
"Hawkrock": fixed a bug due to which the player could get stuck at the point "Ribs".

"Operation Blackwood": fixed a bug which caused an incorrect animation of installing the portable turret in the first and the third person view.
"Pripyat": fixed a bug which caused an incorrect display of the materials of the Sharckopter-MG 3000 on the model.
"Anubis" (Act 1): fixed a bug due to which a player who joined the special operation during the death of another player found him/herself outside the game map.
"Icebreaker" (Act 3): fixed a bug due to which the player could get stuck among stones at a certain point on the map.
Fixed a bug due to which in the Solo mission it was possible to initiate a kick vote.
Sunrise (Act 4): fixed a bug due to which, in the case of killing a player with a Firestarter, the combat log icon was displayed incorrectly.
Fixed a bug due to which in the booster pop-up window with several active bonuses their descriptions lacked separators.
Fixed a bug due to which, when adding friends, the nickname input field got incorrect characters.
Fixed a bug due to which the new mini-game in the Safe House was not available.
Fixed a bug due to which banners and headers of pop-ups were not displayed in the main game menu.
Fixed a bug when the friend request notification was displayed even after the user had been added to the friend list.
Fixed a bug due to which, during the training, the soldier in the themed "Swarm" Safe House pronounced standard lines instead of new ones.

Hephaestus Flamethrower: the visual effect of flames while firing is not displayed in the first person view after the player overcomes an obstacle.
Sometimes in a DirectX 9 game client, a black screen appears when using the Alt+Tab keyboard combination in the full screen mode.
DirectX 11: after minimizing the game client running in the full screen mode, there remain sounds in the background.
